Standards
To ensure interoperability, security, and long-term viability, SIROS relies exclusively on open, peer-reviewed international standards. We do not build proprietary security mechanisms. Instead, we implement the protocols that the world’s experts have already agreed upon.
Standards we build on
The leading open standard for passwordless login, known as either FIDO 2, WebAuthn or Passkeys, which provides phishing-resistant security across leading platforms, browsers and computing devices.
The leading open standard for single sign-on. Identity protocols like OpenID Connect and OpenID4VC ensure secure credential exchange and interoperability.
A global standard for transferring data between an identity document and a mobile device. Ensures secure and privacy-preserving mobile credentials that meet government-grade requirements
The EU’s updated framework for digital ID and trust services. Sets the foundation for the EU Digital Identity Wallet and cross-border credential recognition.
