Our credibility comes from experience. We’ve been shaping identity standards and infrastructure for years, and we’ve learned what works and what doesn’t. SIROS exists to apply those lessons and keep learning. If there are ways we can improve our solutions to meet more of the world’s identity challenges, we want to hear them.
Board of Directors
Stina Ehrensvärd (Board Chair)
Co-founder and CEO of Yubico for the first 16 years. Co-inventor of the YubiKey and a leading driver of the Passkeys open authentication standard, Stina has helped globalize strong two-factor authentication for the modern web.
Leif Johansson (Executive Director)
Former identity strategist and head of infrastructure services at the Swedish University network (SUNET) and architect of Sweden’s academic identity federation SWAMID. An active leader in global standards bodies and brings deep expertise in building open, secure, and privacy-first identity ecosystems.
Nat Sakimura
Chairman of the OpenID Foundation and lead author of widely adopted identity standards like OpenID Connect. Based in Japan, Nat is a global authority on decentralized identity and privacy.
